Bridging the gap between Volunteers & Social Actions
SoVo – Social Volunteers is a community of like-minded individuals who come from different walks of life to support the underprivileged. We are dedicated to supporting the education of tribal and underprivileged children by providing them with everything that they need to complete their education. From Infrastructure to stationery, from clean water to a proper toilet, from electricity to food. Everything that we all would expect our children to have access to when we send them to a school. Whenever there is a need for any help that is brought to our notice, our team thoroughly validates the requirement and then prepares a plan for the support to be provided and resolve the issue.
We are currently running a list of flagship projects like
- Annadanam – providing meals to the needy through public support who wish to celebrate their special occasion.
- Annadanam Tiffin – Meals are provided to widows, homeless and old age handicapped from the tribal areas who do not have any source of income and no family.
- Udaan – Providing educational support to girl children from the tribal areas who are not able to complete their college due to lack of resources and financial challenges in their families.
- Van Mitra – To plant trees in the tribal schools and children take care of them, thereby protecting our Mother Earth.

We are very fortunate that in these tough and trying times IDF & SOVO have taken the initiative to organize Anndanam in the tribal areas and villages of Dahanu. We all want to make a difference in the society but cannot do it alone and need facilitators like IDF and SOVO who have worked tirelessly to make this happen and bring a smile to the faces of the benefactors and donors alike.
