MERI PATHSHALA
Rebuilding schools and restoring dignity—creating safe, functional learning spaces where every child can thrive.
About the Initiative
Meri Pathshala is an initiative focused on improving school infrastructure for underprivileged children. We work towards repairing and rebuilding dilapidated school facilities—especially classrooms and toilets—so that students have access to safe, functional, and dignified learning environments.
What we aim to do:
- Improve and rebuild school infrastructure
- Provide safe and usable sanitation facilities
- Create a better learning environment for students
How It Started:
The journey of Meri Pathshala began with a single Zilla Parishad school in rural Maharashtra with around 50 students.
The school was in a severely dilapidated condition—
- A sinking roof
- Broken floors with large gaps
- Toilets that were completely unusable
Despite these challenges, one dedicated teacher continued to show up every day with hope and commitment. He reached out to us for support.
Moved by the condition of the school and inspired by the teacher’s dedication, we decided to take action. With the support of our donors and volunteers, the school was completely redeveloped, giving students a safe and inspiring place to learn.
Our Mission:
- To build 100+ toilets in schools by 2030
- To construct 20+ classrooms in underserved schools by 2030
Our Unique Approach:
At Meri Pathshala, we focus on quality, sustainability, and real impact:
- Detailed survey and need analysis before starting any project
- Execution under close supervision to ensure high standards
- Timely completion without compromising on quality
- Going beyond commitments to deliver the best possible outcomes for schools and students
